Coffee Check-In: Cycles

This will be a quick check-in. I've been go-go-go these last few weeks, and that combined with my cycle (yes, my period), has me mentally and physically more fatigued.
Yesterday I did a ton of work, but it felt like I was running into a brick wall more often than not. It was incredibly frustrating. I'd felt great in the morning and ready to tackle some stuff I wanted to send out today, but there was a ton of writer's block. Just a ton of creative block in general. After a while, I was able to get a bit done that I felt OK with, but I still don't know if I should've stopped sooner or not.
Because of my Endometriosis and the symptoms I used to experience, I am very aware of my cycle. However, I experienced a chemical pregnancy at the start of April, and my cycles since have been off from their usual timing, and some of the milder symptoms I can experience due to physical, mental, and emotional stress, have cropped up. Those being intense brain fog, headaches and migraines, and mental and physical fatigue.
Are they the worst symptoms to experience? Hell no!! Trust me on that. But they can be annoying and frustrating when trying to get through our society's norms daily. I try not to apologize for the times when I feel/experience these symptoms, but sometimes it's like I'm trying to apologize to myself for not having done more to prevent them. We're all human. And I am grateful every day to not experience the chronic pain I did previously before my excision surgery.
So I have one thing on my to-do list today. That is it. And if it can be rescheduled, that would be wonderful! But rest is the goal to help restart my cycle to a stasis that is more conducive to everything going on right now ❤️️

In keeping with rest, I am enjoying my usual cup of Decaf from bed. Sometimes, I don't have much of an appetite at the start of my cycle, so while I'm not exactly hungry, I know I need nutrition, so I'll be making sure to enjoy a nice breakfast of over-easy eggs, spinach, sprouts and micro greens, and tomato and a yummy gluten-free bagel. One of the things I've incorporated into my life and habits is syncing my nutrition to the different phases of my cycle and my needs, so I'll be leaning into those nutrient needs extra heavily today and this month to help prep for next month's cycle as well 😄
